The Asian Real Estate Association of America proudly announces the birth of a Philadelphia Metro Chapter . AREAA is a non profit real estate trade organization dedicated to fulfilling our mission statement of "promoting sustainable homeownership for the Asian community."
AREAA is dedicated to providing resources to the Asian community to help foster the American Dream of Homeownership. Through membership and sponsorship revenues, we will be providing educational events for the real estate community and the ASIAN community. The events will help potential sellers and buyers understand all aspects of real estate buying and selling. The scope of the seminars will include everything from 1st time home ownership, to real estate investing.
To celebrate the beginning of our new chapter, we are proud to announce three seminars that will benefit the core of our community.
Our first seminar is a
VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE HOMEBUYER SEMINAR

This event will provide an overview of the entire home buyer process from local realtors and lender representatives followed by a Q and A session completely free to all interested consumers in Vietnamese . We will review the basics of shopping for a home, the mortgage process, the title process, and the available tax credit available to all 1st time homebuyers, and even some move up buyers. Please mark your calenders, and come prepared to learn!

AREAA Arizona hosts Housing Our Communities, a Community Housing Development Organization that increases awareness of affordable housing options, on Wednesday, Feb 10th at the Golden Buddha (Chinese Cultural Center) in Phoenix. Free for AREAA Arizona members, $15 for non-members.
We are excited to announce our guest speaker John Smith, President of Housing Our Communities. He will join our upcoming luncheon & lecture to introduce the NSP program to our community. The NSP program provides down payment assistance for low and moderate income families to purchase homes.
Through his NSP programs, he has helped many families obtain down payment monies so as to gain home ownership in the last few months. It will be a great honor to have John to introduce this great program to mutually benefit our members and our Asian Communities.
