As the Chapter President for 2010 Benny Kim, Broker Associate at Century 21 E-N Achievers has great goals for 2010. Besides inspired more American real estate professions to join the chapter, Benny wants to develop a tighter partnership with local government housing agencies and major financial institutions through their local offices to assist Asian American homeowners to prevent foreclosure and at the same time increase housing opportunity for Asian American community. "We want to increase the exposure of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter to the Asian American real estate community through regular educational events and meetings. Doing business in challenging market is the theme for the 2010. We are planning to bring future forecast of the market from different sources including Asset management companies, major financial institution and government related institutions such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FDIC, NAR, CAR, as well as local real estate boards. We also want to invite them to participate in joint events".

"We are the voice and eyes for Asian American community, and we are their guardian for foreclosure prevention and their guide to homeownership. We will take an active role in assisting them through the process in purchasing their first home."

Grand vision depends on successful execution. To accomplish all the goals for 2010 I am surrounded by talented and enthusiastic team of executive board members and cabinet members. I am confident the chapter will head towards another successful year with this skilled execution team.

We are blessed to have a very successful 2009. However, success does not happen by accident and all of us from the AREAA Greater Los Angeles Chapter know that we could have done it without all the support we received from different organizations. It takes a lot of shining stars to brighten and guide us towards the path to success.
