Shirley Yee has been an integral part of the AREAA Greater Toronto Chapter since its inception, playing a pivotal role in its growth and success. Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1987, Shirley graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and earned her degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo in 1981. Since 1987, she has built a distinguished legal career in Scarborough and Markham, practicing as both a partner and a sole practitioner. Her expertise spans real estate (residential and commercial), business and commercial law, family law, and wills and estates.
A passionate advocate for education, Shirley frequently speaks at seminars for realtors on current real estate issues and conducts community seminars on wills and estates. Beyond her professional achievements, Shirley is deeply committed to supporting community initiatives, often volunteering her time and legal expertise to those in need.
Her dedication to AREAA Greater Toronto, combined with her legal acumen and commitment to community service, has been the bedrock of the chapter’s success.
