Lisa was born in Daegu, Korea and was adopted by a Army Chaplain and his wife at the age of 2 and became a US Citizen. She has traveled all over the U.S. as a military brat but settled in Tampa, Florida when she attended the University of South Florida as a Dance Major. Over the years she has worked as a paralegal, as a Web Developer, and a DBA – these careers prepared her for a future career in Real Estate. After graduating in 2004 with a B.A. in History she also received her Real Estate License. As a Residential Realtor she utilized her tech and legal background to help her stay successful even during the Recession, learning how to do short sales, commercial, and note sales. She recently transitioned to Commercial and specializes in Leasing, Investments, Affordable Housing and Development. She is very involve in the Tampa Bay Community and has been a member of the Krewe of St. Brigit since 2009 and was a Board Member from 2014-2019. In 2011 she became a member of Tampa Junior League helping women and children in the Bay Area and is currently a Sustaining Member. She is member of the Downtown Tampa Rotary and has been active since she started in 2012, currently the Chair for Public Image. She is also on the Steering Committee for an Institute of Government course Community Real Estate Development after graduating the course in 2009 and currently teaching the Real Estate portion of the course. She has been on committees with the Greater Tampa Area of Realtors and part of the Public Affairs committee for Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors. She is the current President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America Greater Tampa Bay and a member since 2018. In 2021 she has become the newest member of the WUSF Advisory Board, FREE Network Board Member and is a committee member for the new Art Space Tampa project.
