Matthew Aguilar was born and raised in San Antonio. He began his banking career in 2005 as a Personal Banker at Wood Forest National Bank and has held positions with Chase Bank and Comerica. After joining Jefferson Bank in 2014, Matthew held several positions including relationship banker and credit analyst prior to being promoted to Residential Mortgage Officer in 2020.
Matthew obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
Matthew currently serves on the board of directors for the San Antonio Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). He is also an active member of The National Association of Hispanic real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
As a San Antonio native, he enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering with many local organizations. In their free time, he and his family enjoy exploring San Antonio and the greater Hill Country Region.
